  • Barry YoungBlood - on his fifth Australian tour, the hardest working dancer returns with his unique style and choreography.
  • Gregg Russell - back to inspire Aussies with humour, laughter and dance.

  • Ryan Lohoff - ready to burn the floorboards with a little heat from his feet.
  • Gustavo Vargas - due to popular demand - choreographed Eva Longoria and Carmen Electra in the opening of the 2006 ALMA awards.

Faculty Update (1/8/06)

Since returning to LA our faculty have been hard at work.

Gustavo Vargas performed and choreographed the opening of the 2006 ALMA awards featuring Eva Longoria and Carmen Electra.

Barry YoungBlood has choregraphed the 2006 Namco Industrial as well as teaching across the US over the summer.

Alison Faulk was busy working with Madonna up until the opening of her new 'Confessions' tour. Initially working on only one number with choreographer RJ Durell, Alison ended up assisting in three numbers including 'Erotica' that featured in the disco section of the show. Alison was then asked by tour director Jamie King to stay on to assist throughout rehearsals, which she has mentioned was a truly amazing experience. "Madonna is one hard working entertainer".

Gregg Russell will be holding his second 'Tap into the Network' workshop giving young tappers performance opportunities and masterclasses.

Alison to work with Madonna (2/4/06)

Alison Faulk has just received word that she will be working with Madonna on her new world tour.  This position is within the choreographic field and truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Unfortunately, this means that Alison won't be joining us this year.

Alison's replacement for the 2006 convention is Gustavo Vargas, a well accomplished dancer and choreographer who has worked with the likes of Jessica Simpson, N'SYNC, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and many more.  You can also see Gustavo in the upcoming film 'Rent', as well as 'Be Cool' and 'Dirty Dancing II - Havana Nights'.

We wish Alison well on this amazing venture and welcome Gustavo to the GDC faculty.
